Rosaiah Says No To CM Post

What does any politician do, if he is offered the chief minister post for another term? He would jump with joy and readily accept the offer.

But not our former Chief Minister K Rosaiah. He said he would categorically turn down to become the chief minister, if he is offered the post again. ‘I had enough of it. I am not interested in it anymore,” Rosaiah said, in an informal chat with the media.

There are, however, speculations that Rosaiah might be offered the Governor post in the neighbouring Karnataka state in place of H R Bharadwaj, who is most likely to be shifted to some other state, or offered some key position in the Centre. Apparently, the Centre wants to target the Karnataka government using Bharadwaj in a different way.

And Rosaiah had earlier declined the offer of the Governor post in north-eastern states like Sikkim and Assam on the ground that he would not like to be so far from his home state. He might happily accept the Governor post in Karnataka, sources say.
